    Nothing will kill an otherwise great performance than a band not playing together or speeding up and slowing down during a song. Fortunately for us, there is a piece of old-school tech made especially to take acre of tempo issues. It's called a metronome and lots of musicians hate them. Why? Because the are hard. And unforgiving. And so musicians make up a million bad reasons for not using one.
