29 Reasons You Should Never Ever Adopt An Indian Stray

Deeeefinitely a terrible decision.

1. First things first: They aren't cute.

2. Like, at all.

3. Seriously. What a devastating lack of adorableness.

4. There is absolutely nothing about them that could induce an "aww" or a "heyyy there little buddy!"

5. ... Or even a feeble "who's a good boy!"

6. They're wild and they hate humans and they definitely never want to cuddle.

7. Never ever.

8. NO. CUDDLING. WHATSOEVER.

9. Oh, also, they're filthy and should be kept away from your furniture and bed and life.

10. Strays are so unfriendly, it's a wonder they haven't wiped us out completely.

11. They're scrappy and mean and will terrorize every other creature in your home.

12. And they certainly won't keep you entertained for hours on end.

13. They don't have teeny furry paws or big wet eyes or cute flappy ears. None of it.

14. And they never grow up to be regal, royal, beautiful creatures.

15. They're not at all pleasant to fall asleep next to.

16. And they're even worse to wake up with.

17. You're better off paying money to get a luxury breed. This guy won't jump for joy every time you come home, even if you were only gone for two minutes.

18. This lil' furball doesn't deserve a happy family! Naaaaah. She just doesn't fit in.

19. They'll probably just terrify every member of your household.

20. Strays aren't a soothing presence at the end of the day. If anything, this looks stressful.

21. They're more or less evil monsters.

22. Why would you want to give love and care and a home to these little terrors?

23. Who in their right mind would want such unconditional adoration?

24. It's not like adopted or rescued pets are warm, or loving, or deserving of happy homes.

25. It's not like they can grow to be your best friend, your support system, your loyal family.

26. I mean... Why would anybody adopt a stray?

27. Really. Don't do it.

28. Take my word for it.

29. There's nothing in it for you.
