This is United States Army Reserve Captain Keith Robinson. He's been deployed in Afghanistan for the last 6 months.
A couple of weeks ago, Keith told his daughter, Ruby (22), that he probably wouldn't be able to attend her college graduation on May 19, at Columbia.
But after a sudden change of plans (and 14+ hours of flying), Keith made it to New York City just in time to meet Ruby on stage as she received walked across it.
"Congratulations, young lady," Keith said to his daughter. "I'm so proud of you."
