    He enlisted the help of his friend Jake Keen to forge a sword made of more than 175 pounds of iron ore as well as a few chunks of meteorite ("thunderbolt iron") which he included for their "magical properties." Said Pratchett: "You’ve got to chuck that stuff in whether you believe in it or not.”
