I'm the only one!  Eeyore gets a pass. I'd say the naming scheme is pretty consistent so why change it after 80 years? Eeyore's name comes from the sound donkeys make, which is rendered in British English as “eeyore.” Wikipedia is your friend.

ohhh chris you mean the same naming scheme that named three characters pooh, tigger and eeyore? don't imply silly things like “THEY AREN'T USING THE SAME NAMING SCHEME THAT ALL THE OTHER CHARACTERS WERE SUBJECTED TO!!! Why the new otter character is named Lottie and not OTTER is beyond me. Stick with the naming scheme.
