Culture Buzz From Spanish company Berjuan comes Baby Glutton, a doll that allows young girls to simulate breast feeding. The tagline: “Because you shouldn't have to wait until you have breasts before you start breastfeeding your baby.”

I like how quickly the reality sets in. In Pic 1 the little girl is all like “Man feeding this plastic baby is gonna be totally sweet!” Then a few minutes later in Pic 2 she's all like “No, this is nowhere near as awesome as I had imagined…”
im pretty sure a baby does not make the sound 'chup' whilst breastfeeding.

I actually think it's interesting… in American culture girls/women are exposed mostly to bottle feeding (another fabulous concept devised to desexualize motherhood and parenting — by men, religious fear and ignorance— thanks Victorians!). Breast feeding doesn't exist in our mainstream media but, in Europe there's somewhat prolific ads that promote it. Granted, it's wholesome and natural but, our obsession with sex has made breasts mere toys, less functional.
