A Special Memorial Day Giveaway

What is Memorial Day? For most people it is just a day off from work. But for some, it is a day of remembrance for those who have had a friend or loved one that made the ultimate sacrifice for the country we live in. No matter if it was during training, a conflict, or war, there were heroes who put others first before their own lives. Although we should always thank a Veteran for their service, we must never forget the men and women who paid for our freedom with their lives.

A Special Memorial Day Giveaway

You can thank these Heroes for your ability to exercise your rights to freedom of speech and the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. It is not the politician in Washington that makes over 100K a year who guarantees you these freedoms. It is the Soldier in the fox hole, the Marine on the beach, the Airman in the hangar, and the Sailor on the aircraft carrier who give you these freedoms.

We are going to do something different for this Memorial Day. We will be having a giveaway, in which the details will be shared soon, but let's talk about what we will ask you to do. We want to share everyone's story. If a friend or a loved one made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation, we want to share your story with the world. If you write about them, we will publish your story on Memorial Day.

We believe that their story should be heard and this would be an excellent way to honor those who made this sacrifice for people they didn't even know. While these are debts we can never repay, we will do everything in our ability to give them the honor they deserve.

Everyone who submits a story will be automatically entered into our giveaway. The winners will be randomly selected through a drawing. We don't have all the details of the giveaway at the moment, but we will post them as soon as they have been finalized.

We will be accepting submissions starting today through 6:00p.m., Saturday, May 24th. You can email them to us here. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from everyone.

We are asking all of our readers to help us share these Heroes' stories by helping us make them go viral on the Internet. This is the least we can do to keep their memory alive.
