Lawyer Suing Drive Distributor Has a Tirade in Blog Comments About Anti-Semitism
You may recall that a Michigan woman is suing the distributors of Drive because the film didn't have enough driving in it and because she feels it is anti-semitic. In blog comments he tries to spell out why the film is anti-semitic, including something about a "false racist canard about Jews being a threat to the Christian child." Alec Baldwin Is Not Showing Up To The Emmys Tonight
Alec Baldwin is bailing on tonight's ceremony because Fox put the kibosh on a News Corp. phone hacking joke he made in a pre-taped segment. Baldwin refused to let the segment run without his joke, so Leonard Nimoy will be replacing him. "I understand NewsCorp killing that joke," he tweeted. "If I were enmeshed in a scandal where I hacked phones of families of innocent crime victims purely 4 profit, I'd want that 2 go away, 2." Looks like he got a nice zinger in there anyway. Touche.
