If you've already experienced all 86 minutes of Godfrey Reggio's heady and beautiful 1982 documentary, then you probably either walked away with mind blown or completely nodded off. For the latter, here's a 1552% sped-up version of the film with a new soundtrack.

Alec Baldwin Is Not Showing Up To The Emmys Tonight

Alec Baldwin is bailing on tonight's ceremony because Fox put the kibosh on a News Corp. phone hacking joke he made in a pre-taped segment. Baldwin refused to let the segment run without his joke, so Leonard Nimoy will be replacing him. "I understand NewsCorp killing that joke," he tweeted. "If I were enmeshed in a scandal where I hacked phones of families of innocent crime victims purely 4 profit, I'd want that 2 go away, 2." Looks like he got a nice zinger in there anyway. Touche. Rod and Ricky, two puppets featured in the Broadway musical Avenue Q, tied the knot in front of New York City Hall today, making them one of the first same-sex couples in New York to be wed. Obviously the day is full of fabulous nuptials, but this one may well take the cake. Mazel Tov! (via.)

Kids Do The Darndest Airline Safety Videos

Turkish airline Pegasus wins the award for cutest in-flight safety video. Watch as kids go through the motions of explaining what to do in the event of emergency. Also, don't miss the pilot, who has seen his fair share of dirty diapers from here to Istanbul, if you know what I'm sayin.
