

Tim Hill, director of epic love stories such as "Hop" and "Alvin and the Chipmunks," has landed a new gig.
He will direct a reboot of John Badham's 1986 classic "Short Circuit." The best part? He edged out Steve Carr, director of the critically acclaimed "Paul Blart: Mall Cop." Apparently there's just too much talent in Hollywood these days. (via.)
