Right and this 50 shades of grey and other such books women love does a lot to add to this cluelessness. It is no wonder that while a lot of women enjoy the book, few reported enthusiasm for its theme of domination. It is why men get ridiculed for asking “may I kiss you” by women who say it is not sexy to ask for permission, and get scorned or worse imprisoned by the same women who say “you do not come into my personal space without my permission.”
Books like these are dangerous for the same reason that porn is dangerous, they give you a false impression of the real world.
