Having been available in the US for a couple of years now, it was only a matter of time for the phenomenal jellyfish pets to come to the UK.
UK Retailer PetJellyfish.co.uk are now offering two sizes of jellyfish tank, one for beginners and one for aquarium enthusiasts.
Intended for beginners (or enthusiasts alike!), the 'Orbit 20' jellyfish tank is a 20 litre aquarium which is designed to make keeping jellyfish easy.
While typically being known for having a fierce, poisonous or stinging appearance, some species of Jellyfish actually don't sting at all, and therefore make great pets.
Moon jellyfish (the most commonly seen) are the most popular, as their white opaque exterior is almost relaxing to watch as they drift effortlessly through the tank.
In fact, jellyfish are no harder to keep than fish, and Pet Jellyfish are aiming to educate to allow more people to keep jellies as pets.
The Orbit 20 tank comes with colour changing LEDs, which can be changed on-the-fly by a remote control which comes included.
Whether you want to change colour depending on your mood, or just prefer a cool blue or deep red, there's no doubt that moon jellyfish look awesome under the lights (see video above for proof!)
