Because doing so would prove that one Green MP can get more done than the entire Parliamentary Labour Party.

3. Crying that the Greens are splitting the progressive vote and should stand down.

As if Labour somehow own everyone's votes, no matter how right wing and neoliberal their policies become, and it is some sort of outrage for another party with better policies to step on their fiefdoms,

5. Crying about the Greens being too left and not wanting to work with Labour, and at the same time suggesting that the Green Party want to make a Coalition Deal with the Tories.

6. "Brighton" "Brighton" "Brighton" being their anti-Green mantra

Highlighting council cuts and setbacks under the Brighton minority Green administration, whilst completely ignoring the fact that Labour have sided with the Tories on Brighton Council to make it almost impossible for the Greens to get anything useful done. For example, the Greens wanted to give the people of Brighton a referendum on raising Council Tax in order to protect vital services - Labour joined up with the Tories to crush the proposals and stop the public from having their say.

7. Labour MP Diane Abbott repeatedly asserting that Labour can win back Green voters with their " improving environmental record"
