thinkimasofa 9 months agoFor the record on the donation comments… you can’t donate hair that’s been dyed lighter. The only way she “donated” it is if it was for a publicity stunt for Locks of Love… and they just tossed it after.

Davine S. 9 months agoI’m not sure where the hair donation talk is coming from - google only shows fans saying it, not Miley herself. My brother does hair donation on a back-to-back basis, and he has to grow it insaaanely long between each time. Hair donated to “Locks of Love” has to be at least 10 inches long and not bleached: “The bleach causes the hair to dissolve as it goes through the manufacturing process. Note: Many times highlights are done with bleach.” From what I can tell, Miley always cuts her hair in less than 10” increments, and she’s had highlights (of one kind or another) forever - even before her last hair makeover.

Who cares? She wanted to donate her hair to cancer kids, so she ran with it. I chopped all my hair off a couple times for the same reason. Besides, it’s just hair. May as well have fun with it!
