A 65ft hedge is the subject of a bitter planning row between two neighbours in Kellas, near Elgin in Scotland.
In a report to the committee, planning officers recommended that it be cut short by 10 metres, under the High Hedges (Scotland) Act which was passed last year.
An earlier version of this article incorrectly used a picture of the Meikleour beech hedge, at Blairgowrie, near Perth.
