Response to 13 Biggest Bros Of Congress:
I really hope the NPH gif at the bottom of Aaron Schock’s section was an allusion to Shock’s probable closeted gayness. He digs Taylor Swift, tooootttaallllyyy screams “I’M A MAN! (who likes other men.)”
Whomever wrote this should watch the segment about Stella Liebeck in the documentary Hot Coffee (named after the widely held misconceptions about Stella Liebeck and her supposed ‘frivolous’ lawsuit.) Stella not only sued over her medical bills, but also for McDonald’s to lower the temperature of their coffee which was, in fact, too hot. The jury awarded her punitive damages not for her suffering but in an attempt to get McDonald’s to lower the temperature of their coffee, which they eventually did. The implication of including her in this list is to suggest that she spilled the coffee on herself to make money, which is as far from the truth of that case as possible. There are plenty of examples of frivolous lawsuits, and this incident should be removed from this list because it was a legitimate lawsuit that was exploited by supporters of ‘tort reform’ and skewed sensationalist journalism.
