The Tennessee congressman sent a few fond tweets to Victoria Brink on the night of the State of the Union, then quickly deleted them. Frank Thorp of NBC News reported this evening that she is his long-lost daughter.

On Wednesday, Breitbart.com described Rep. Cohen’s deleted tweets to Brink as “flirtatious” and raised comparisons to Rep. Anthony Weiner, who resigned from Congress in 2011 after sending racy images of himself to women who were not his wife.

MsSkeet 3 months agoHe probably didn’t want her privacy invaded, which is why he deleted these greetings to her a quickly as he did. I’d say that was a responsible thing to do on his part - deleting the messages. But… If it were me, I wouldn’t have used Twitter. I don’t think you get that much privacy there.
