1. Sure, it’s useful experience. But it’s not useful to anyone when you can’t even afford to get there…
2. But that's not a problem for everyone
3. Which is what makes it so divisive
4. Some people are able to do internships because their parents can support them
5. And because they already live in a big city where internships are aplenty
6. Whilst others live a little further out…
7. So internships are out of reach
8. And if you do get to do an internship, it’s highly likely you’ll be mainly getting drinks for the important people
9. But you know you’re worth more…
10. And you try and stay positive, but life just gets you down
11. 'But it might result in a job!' people will say
12. But you have to do the internship, because without it your job search is like…
13. Now imagine what would happen if organisations had to pay you for your internship
14. It would make internships more accessible and mutually beneficial!
15. And we’d all feel a lot more like this
