White-Clad Protesters Gather In The Philippines To Fight Government Corruption

    An estimated 60,000 Filipino citizens rallied on Monday to protest government corruption and misused "pork barrel" funds. The so-called "million people march" was organized through Facebook and called for citizens to wear all white in solidarity. President Bengino Aquino, who was elected in 2010 on an anti-corruption platform, said the government would plug the leaks.
