Protesters Stand Their Ground In Egypt Demanding President’s Resignation

Egyptians remained in a political standoff on Monday after millions of protesters flooded the street the day earlier and renounced the president on the anniversary of his inauguration. Demonstrators opposing President Mohamed Morsi chanted, “the people demand the fall of the regime.” So far, four ministers are reported to have resigned.
