      For a majority of the interview it sounds like he’s talking about Jesus hooking up with his mum Mary, not Jesus and Mary Magdalene or Jesus and some other non-relative Mary. Of course people would be outraged.

      FWIW, since there is no provenance to the snippet of the document, which just happens to be nonspecific yet highly controversial, emerging from absolute obscurity at a time of keen interest, it would appear to be an elaborate forgery designed to draw a maximum price for (relatively) little work. Reminds me of the Mark Hofmann forgeries about early Mormonism; eventually that blew up in his face. Literally. I expect this will “blow up” eventually as well.
