1. Let's remember to make our kids watch Friends. It'll teach them to never judge too quickly.
2. And to not care about being judged, either.
3. They'll learn that it's OK to not have things figured out.
4. And that being an "adult" can mean different things to different people.
5. They need to know that it's fine to not be a "good person" all the damn time.
6. And to take charge of their own happiness.
7. Make your kids watch Friends so they'll learn to love themselves.
8. And also how to really, truly love other people.
9. They need to know that love is honesty.
10. And that love is goofiness.
11. And that love can look weird from the outside.
12. And that love is unconditional.
13. Friends will teach them there's someone out there.
14. But that independence is important, too.
15. It'll teach them to not sweat the small stuff.
16. And to care about ALL the big stuff.
17. They need to learn that everyone hurts.
18. And everyone has weird ways to cope.
19. It'll teach them that everyone is smart in different ways.
20. And everyone's dumb in different ways, too.
21. It'll remind them to never be taken for granted.
22. And to never take anyone for granted, either.
23. It'll teach them that fairy-tale romances are real.
24. But false starts happen to everyone, too.
25. It'll teach them to never stop trying.
26. No matter how much it sucks.
27. And, most importantly, it'll teach them how to be a damn good friend.
