The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recently bleeped out the word "Bombay" from Mihir Joshi's new song "Sorry".
Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, along with filmmaker Karan Johar are under fire for "filthy and abusive language" used in the AIB Knockout.
And the reaction from a member of the censor board, Ashoke Pandit, to the content of the Knockout is ironic, to say the least.
So while we're on the subject of censoring anything and everything that "misleads India's youth", here are a couple of things we'd like to add to the list.
1.Yo Yo Honey Singh as an entity for his misoginistic lyrics.
2.Bollywood movies like Tum Mere Ho for promoting domestic violence and rape.
3.Bollywood movies like Haseena Maan Jayegi that teach our impressionable youth that no doesn't ever mean no.
4.Bollywood movies like Dostana that promote gay stereotypes and homophobia.
5.Religious leaders like Baba Ramdev who claim, to millions, that homosexuality is a disease that cured by yoga.
6.Literally ANYTHING Kamaal R. Khan speaks or tweets.
