It’s not “basically impossible”. I can do the same thing. But they speed at which he’s doing it and what he’s drawing suggests that he trained to do it and/or that he’s not truly ambidextrous.

How can people say “Psh I’m not impressed”. Yes he is drawing mirrors (the same thing) with both hands but it’s basically impossible to do otherwise, the brain won’t allow you to draw different things with both hands at the same time.
Also, he’s doing this demonstration upside down!
That’s what impresses me!

Like Matthew said, he’s really nothing unique…just thought to show it off. Yes, he can draw better than me. But EVERYONE can do this. Your brain mirrors actions on your right and left sides easily. If you start writing a word with both hands simultaneously, it is easier for your left hand to write in mirror form. So drawing would be the same.

At the start of every new illustration I kept thinking “fallopian tubes.” I worried myself until he pulled that trick towards the end. He’s on another level.

When I was a kid, I remember my cousin doing this sort of thing — although just with writing — and it impressed the shit out of me. If I’d seen this guy back then I think my head would’ve exploded.

not as impressive as you might think, though still nothing to thumb your nose at. notice that he’s drawing the same thing with both hands, only opposite from one another. he doesn’t have to concentrate on both hands’ movement, only on the whole of the picture (duplicated by the other hand). try it yourself, move both hands in opposite circles in front of you. its easy, right? now try having one draw a circle and one draw a line up and down. significantly harder
