Earlier today a storm quickly descended on Hobart.
What seemed like a normal rain storm quickly turned into a hail storm.
Liverpool Street in Hobart's CBD was pelted with hail.
The hail stones were big!
No seriously, they were big!
Which made it pretty unsafe to be outside.
Entire ovals were covered.
There were reports that houses lost power.
Cars were placed in the line of fire.
Better use that undercover car park next time.
Hobart was officially drowning in a sea of hail.
Streets were quickly cleared within minutes of the storm starting.
But as quick as it began, it was over.
Leaving Hobart completely covered.
This family's patio sail became a net for the hail.
Once again it was safe to go outside.
Not the most ideal start to summer.
