31 Of The Absolute Worst Things About Living On Campus

Living out of home with hundreds of students is a non-stop party right?

    1. The fresh intake of students every semester.

    2. Which means a lot of freshman will try and hang out with you.

    3. But hey! They’re better than the mature aged students who decided to live on campus.

    4. Owning a car = becoming a taxi.

    5. After your first night on campus.

    6. Every morning during your first week on campus.

    7. Every morning during your entire life on campus.

    8. Making your own food.

    9. And by making your own food we mean living off instant noodles.

    10. Living on campus means you're out of home for the first time, which means you have a tiny taste of the real world as it slaps you in the face.

    11. Friends who don't live on campus asking you to print off and hand in every assignment for them.

    12. Opening up the communal fridge to find food that has been rotting in there for months.

    13. When you get a roommate who resembles Patrick Bateman.

    14. When your parents visit.

    15. Having to deal with the horrible internet they provide you with.

    16. When a friend from home visits.

    17. When you have an exam at 6AM the next morning and there's a party on.

    18. The kid who is always drunk, yet they get better grades than you.

    19. The sounds of sex from other rooms.

    20. When you see people you’ve hooked up with.

    21. Seriously. You’ll see them multiple times a day.

    22. Just one more GIF image describing this situation for good measure.

    23. Becoming tunnel/eskimo buddies with someone you dislike.

    24. RAs.

    25. Liking someone on college.

    26. Having non-resident friends make fun of you and your friends who live on campus because you go to the same bar every week.

    27. That one kid who’s there every day and doesn’t even live on campus, or go to university for that matter.

    28. Then all of a sudden you graduate out of nowhere and you’re dragged away.

    29. And you must now transition into the real world and work.

    30. You’re then constantly reminded of college life from friends on Facebook who are still there, and it sucks!

    31. Because no matter how many things about living on college got on your nerves, it will always be some of the best years of your life.
