Last night in the Sugar Bowl, Big East champion Louisville pulled off the biggest upset in BCS Bowl history, according to ESPN. The No. 21 Cardinals, 14.5 point underdogs before the game, shocked No. 3 Florida 33-23, which is great for them, but the Florida did win the battle of “Coolest Sports Photo” when Florida linebacker completely destroyed Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. This is the current leader in the clubhouse for the best shot of 2013.
Bostic’s hit was in no way legal, and he was penalized for roughing the passer. Bridgewater was okay, and proceeded to throw for 266 yards and two touchdowns. But DAMN. Associated Press photographer Bill Haber should win awards for this one, even if it’s just made up “Photo of the Year” awards on BuzzFeed Sports.
