Pinups Get Feisty

For any woman who's ever wanted to throw an underwire bra down the garbage disposal, light the bottomless mending pile on fire, or play frisbee with her bathroom scale; this calendar is for you. For any man who's ever wished the centerfold came with a sense of humor and wit, that goes double for you. For anyone looking for something a little retro, a little plucky and a LOT sexy, Tyson Ritter Photography brings you a new calendar: Pissed Off Pinups.
Pissed Off Pinups, a 12-month, full color calendar for 2013, is the brain child of stylist and model Molly Ritter and her Husband, award-winning photographer, Tyson Ritter. Each page features a 1950's style pinup striking back at the physical representations of her domestic oppression.
"It's a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek statement on how a lot of women feel about their traditional roles," says Molly. "I wanted to show local women in that vintage, Gil Elvgren-style doing things no one would expect a pinup to do."
The calendar is currently in the funding stage on kickstarter.com with a goal of $3,500 to cover the cost of props and printing. After the funds are secured the pinup calendar will head to Times Printing for production and then into local stores.
