Say Hello To Your New Favourite Month: Dinovember

Meet Refe Tuma, a writer, community manager and contributing editor at Paper Darts. He's also an amazing dad. Every November, he dedicates his time to his kids the best way possible: convincing them that their plastic dinosaurs come to life at night.

It started with a simple tableau. One December morning, the family came down to breakfast to find the dinos had gotten into the cereal and made a mess.

After some other kitchen antics, the friendly but mischievous 'saurs got into the fridge and a box of eggs.

And then things escalated.

And mum and dad got quite into things...

And more creative.

And a little dark.

And why do they do this? Refe explains on his website:

"...in the age of iPads and Netflix, we don't want our kids to lose their sense of wonder and imagination. In a time when the answers to all the world's questions are a web-search away, we want our kids to experience a little mystery. All it takes is some time and energy, creativity, and a few plastic dinosaurs.

Childhood is fleeting, so let's make sure it's fun while it lasts."
