Where are my Divergent fans? Well, in case you haven’t heard, Veronica Roth’s Divergent trilogy will now officially hit theaters March 21, 2014. This is basically the best news I’ve heard all week, though many dedicated fans are skeptical of how it will translate to film. All we can really do is hope for the best and, of course, come up with a dream cast.
For those of you who haven’t read the series yet, SHAME ON YOU. No but really, if you love the Hunger Games or Maze Runner, you will most likely enjoy this dystopian novel.
And now for my dream cast:
2. Beatrice Prior (Tris)
She is my number one pick. She fits the part physically and I think her performance in Hanna defines her as dauntless.
3. Tobias Eaton (Four)
My friends all think I’m crazy when I suggest Jeremy, but he’s all I could picture when reading the book. He was such a badass in Newsies and I think he would do his faction justice. And although it’s completely irrelevant, he can serenade you with his angelic voice.
4. Al (Albert)
Max is a big guy who looks intimidating, yet you want to embrace him like a toy teddy bear.
5. Caleb Prior
He’s cute. And he could play an intelligent guy. All the ladies would look at him if he weren’t in Abnegation.
Personally, I think Tyler is a good-looking man and I wouldn’t want to hate him throughout the movie, but he’s got that long hair and strong features going for him.
Blonde shaggy hair? Check. Green eyes? Check. I approve this choice.
She just popped in my head. Also, her dad is pretty cool.
Come on. Look at that face. He just looks like he could be the antagonist.
Evan Rachel Wood
Can’t you just imagine her covered in tats and plotting for revenge?
