1. Annual Bath Tub Races

Where else can you see local businesses race tubs down Main Street, with hundreds of spectators lining the road? All tubs require steering, braking, and have to actually hold a couple gallons of water.

Berlin is also the host to many other fun, family friendly events such as MayDay Play Day with live music, the NYE Ball Drop, The Peach Festival and Jazz & Blues Festival.

2. Burley Oak Brewery

We have our own small-town brewery featuring creative and tasty brews for all tastes! The inspiration for the name Burley Oak Brewing Company was derived from the name of the town, their traditional brewing methods and the history of their brewhouse.

3. Berlin Little League is No Joke

Just won the Maryland State Little League Championships and are headed to CT for the Regionals.

4. Night Time Christmas Parade

Fire companies, marching bands and organizations from all over Delmarva participate in the 42 year tradition with up to 80 different participants. The streets are lined with locals and visitors alike!

5. Free Parking

I know this may sound silly, but more and more towns don't offer any public free parking. We have free municipal parking lots as well as free street parking to accomodate those visiting our quaint town.

"Before we even opened our doors in April of 2010, our friend and business partner Jill had an idea for us to develop and present to the Town Counsel the idea of an official dessert for Berlin, Maryland.

We thought this was a great idea, so brainstorming ideas for a sweet treat that would represent the history and vintage charm of this little seaside town we call home began. Berlin has such a rich history and one that is rooted with peach orchards. At one time, this town in Maryland was home to one of the largest orchards in the country. Yes readers, I said Maryland and not Georgia! Well, this sealed the deal for us…our dessert had to have the peach as an ingredient."
