We Haven’t Forgotten About You Las Cruces.

A crime goes unsolved for 24 years.

It all happened 24 years ago. On February 10th, 1990 two men entered Las Cruces Bowl, a bowling alley in Las Cruces, New Mexico and shot 7 people. Of those shot, 4 died. Each victim was shot execution style and left to die. The victims include 2-year old Valerie Teran, 6-year-old Paula Holguin, 13-year-old Amy Houser, 12 year-old Melissia Repass, 26 year-old Steve Teran, 30 year-old Ida Holguin and 34 year-old Stephanie Senac.

It was early in the morning and the bowling alley hadn't opened. The manager Stephanie Senac was in the office preparing for that days business. With her in the office was her daughter Melissia Repass and Amy Houser. Ida Holgiun, the bowling alley cook was there as well, but was not in the office. Two men entered the bowling alley and one put a gun to Ida Holdiun's head and forced her into the office with the rest. The attackers then proceeded to take around $5,000. During the chaos Steven Teran walked in with his two daughters Valeria and Paula. Mr. Teran had been unable to find a babysitter that morning and planned on dropping them off at the bowling alley's day care center. All 7 were then shot inside the office execution style. Steve Teran, 26 , Amy Houser, 13, and Paula Holguin, 6 died immediately. Valeria Teran, who was 2 years old, later died in the hospital, her last words being "momma." The two killers then set the bowling alley office on fire and left the building. Twelve year old Melissia Repass was able to call 911 even with a bullet in her head.

The two murders left the bowling alley and disappeared. Since then no one has been able to find them, the money or even determine the motivation behind the attack. The case has gone unsolved for 24 years.

I can only imagine how difficult the last 24 years has been for the victims' families and friends as each year passes with the crime being unsolved. I write this for the families that have suffered through this terrible tragedy. We have not forgotten. We will be thinking and praying for you. My most sincere condolences go out to friends and families of the the victims involved in the Las Curse Bowling Massacre.
