10 Reasons Being A Receptionist Sucks

I'm a receptionist in Miami - let me rant, damn it!

1. "Hello! How can I-" customer: "YO NO HABLO INGLES"

WELL DAMN, I SPEAK SPANISH TOO.

2. *Phone Rings* "Hello, Derp Inc., how may I help you?" customer: "Yeah, is this Derp Inc.?"

3. "Hello, how can I help you?" *gets ignored completely*

OH, OKAY.

4. When you ask a customer if they need assistance and they say no...

BUT IMMEDIATELY ASK YOUR COWORKER FOR HELP. DA FUQ BRO?

5. "You should really change the storefront if your company changed the name."

AH, YES. As THEE store owner, I will get to that as soon as possible. PFFT.

6. *Changes toner on printer* *Gets toner all over face*

***DOES NOT NOTICE UNTIL IT IS TIME TO GO***

7. *Clearly eating lunch* "Are you busy?"

Nope, the ball of food in my mouth is done purely for relaxation.

8. "There's a roach over there..."

Oh really? That sucks. I am not your exterminator, and am afraid of roaches. You pick it up!

9. Business hours state closing time is at 7 in the evening. A customer walks in at 7:01 while you're picking up.

"Are you closed?" ***AWKWARD SILENCE***

10. *Getting yelled at by customer*

"IF YOU KEEP BEING SNARKY, IMMA KICK YO ASS OUT."
