Lifelong Hockey Fan Brought To Tears After Receiving A Contract From His Favorite Team

A one-day contract for a memory that will last a lifetime.

Sam Tageson is a lifelong San Jose Sharks fan who has played hockey since the age of six despite a health condition which left him with only two heart chambers instead of four. On Tuesday night, he officially became a member of the Sharks organization with a one-day contract, which allowed him to practice and skate with the team.

After being featured on the jumbotron before the game, Tageson was overcome with emotion, realizing he had fulfilled his dream and proved his doctors wrong, who all suggested he give up hockey and pick up another sport.
