4. In doing so, he single-handedly brought hockey prominence back to the United States.
5. Plus, he basically embodied the working-class man when he impossibly defeated the snooty Hawks in the Minnesota State Pee Wee Championship.
6. And once more against Team Iceland, even though those guys were bigger, faster, stronger, and had more facial hair.
7. But more importantly, he fought for equal opportunity education for all.
8. And taught us to play fair and take the high road, even if it pains us.
9. He united a diverse group of kids from all over the country.
10. Because he saw people for their potential.
11. And found a way to take kids off the street and keep them out of trouble.
12. Because his word is his bond and a Bombay always keeps his promise.
