When Harold Camping announced on his radio program that the world was going to end on May 21st, 2011, a lot of people believed him. Nearly all of his followers gave their savings to him to fund the many billboards and cross-country tour to warn people. People killed themselves. One woman slit her daughters' throats and then her own because she didn't want them to go through the tribulation. Luckily they lived to do it right this time around...
