Memorial Day Shooting Witness: Police Smashed My Phone to Destroy Evidence
Narces Benoit, an eyewitness to a fatal police shooting in Miami Beach last week claims police officers attempted to confiscate this video he filmed of the incident, at gunpoint, and even crushed his phone underfoot in an attempt to destroy the recording. He hid the memory card in his mouth before handing the phone to officers. (via CNN)
