Kia ora my name is Phoenix Stafford, I am 9 years old and I’m born and bread from sunny Nelson. In sept 2010 I was diagnosed with rare “ Ewings sarcoma of the spinal cord” which is a cancerous tumour in my spine. For 18 months I have undertaken rounds of chemotherapy every 21 days and 28 consecutive days of radiation therapy which has not been successful. My family are not giving up so we are now undergoing alternative treatment methods which unfortunately are not government funded, as these treatments are at a huge on going cost to my family we are fundraising to help pay for the treatments.
