The story begins in 2059 when 19-year-old character Paige Mahoney, working in the criminal underworld of London based at Seven Dials* is employed by a gang leader named Jaxon Hall. Her gang is known as Seven Seals. Paige is a Dreamwalker owning very rare and elusive superhero powers.

Then at some time she got attacked, kidnapped and transported to a penal colony, Sheol I (previously Oxford) a city that has been kept secret for 200 years. In that secret city she meets Warden, a Rephaite who will become her “keeper” and so on. But wait, there's more! The Story isn't just circulates around one country or city. It’s a fairly international story with several major world cities involved, all of which are under the control of a security force called Scion.
