The Fate of Bambi's Mother.

You figure "Bambi" was gonna be the one Disney film that didn't push the borders of what is appropriate for a children's movie. Its just the coming-of-age story of a little deer and his cute little woodland friends, right?

And then you hear the gunshot. Why.

"Are you satisfied with your care?"

NO, BAYMAX, NO! IN FACT, I AM NOT SATISFIED!

Throughout the entire movie, the incredibly cute bubble said that phrase in a questioning way, the way a customer service representative might ask you if you received everything you needed.

So why, at the end, did he say it in such a finite, statement-like way? Like he knew what was going to happen to him? Oh God.

Hercules in the River Styx

This was just wrong. In order to save his beloved Meg, our hero launches himself into the river of death to save her soul. I think we can all agree that we could have done without seeing Herc waste away as he tried fruitlessly to swim through the dead souls, his body aging and withering in disturbing fashion. Thank the Gods he made it out in one piece.

He Wrecked It.

Fooled by King Candy, Wreck-It Ralph decides the best thing for Vanellope is to destroy her only means of racing. The film took a darkly sad turn at this point, as Ralph has to resort to his old, hated ways. Sarah Silverman's gut-wrenching screams for mercy really broke my otherwise cold, cold heart.

Frollo's creepy ass.

Judge Frollo is the animated-representation of that creepy old relative/acquaintance whose very existence screams "I Need Meninism!" and who stares at young women for far too long. In "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" its just one "smh" moment after another with him. And none worse than when he broke into song in front of his fire place, inappropriately insinuating his lust for Esmeralda. *Gags*

I mean, he was an asshole, and Tarzan did try to stop him, but man, even the happiest kid on Earth knew something went horribly wrong with Clayton up in that tree. And then the lightning flashing to show his corpse hanging too? You go too far, Disney.

This was just terrible. The Beast was truly one of those special characters that make you grow right alongside them as the film/story goes along. You initially hate him and then before you know it you find yourself rooting for him, the same way his hard heart eventually softens for Belle. And to see him stabbed in the back, to hear Belle's cries over his corpse, jeez.

Acceptance.

Witness the mastery of Disney. They make you fall in love with a pair of characters only to destroy their (and your) world in the span of five minutes.

C'mon.

You knew this would round out the list.

Arguably the best Disney movie of all time, "The Lion King" delivered to us the most heart-breaking moment in animated film history.

In fact, instead of a screenshot, why don't we just go ahead and suffer together again!

A lot of people watch "The Notebook" to get a good cry.

Why do that when Mickey Mouse has a whole vault of goodies ready to ruin your whole life!
