No consumer product you buy has value. It was probably sold under cost to drive sales, which boosts stock investment, so the company that cannot turn a profit selling goods can have a continual influx of public funds to run on.

Gavon Laessig 7 months agoBefore everyone jumps on this, Popeye was indeed once played by a woman. From the IMDB page of Mae Questel, who voiced Olive Oyl (and Betty Boop): “She did Popeye’s voice once, in the cartoon Shape Ahoy (1945), because Jack Mercer was serving in the military during World War II.”
