Yes, that was a bit harsh. I have nothing agianst people who believe in god, but people need to realize that speaking to a rotating cloud will NOT save your ass.

graceb2 a year agoIt is amazing to see how people respond to this video. If this was any other religion there would not be as much hate towards this woman. To disagree with her (and my) belief in God’s sovereignty is one thing…but to make fun of and mock them is wrong. elisep a year agoFirst I want to say that I’m glad this woman survived and is safe. Granted, I feel that her praying could have been done in a safer place but at least she’s safe. Second, I’ve been reading through these comments and some of them sting a bit. I’ve lived through many tornadoes, some that have been insanely devastating in the last past year to places very close to home. I’m a bit put off that some people are basically saying that this is proof of God and that if you pray hard enough you’ll be spared of natural disaster. Having gone to Joplin and helping them rebuild, knowing that it could have easily been my home in shambles…did they not pray hard enough?

JennJR a year agoHonestly, all I saw was someone stupidly videotaping a rotating cloud that could have dropped a funnel at any moment instead of taking proper shelter. I saw a rotating cloud once, too. I cursed it out and took shelter. Apparently my would-be tornado was a wimp that was intimidated by the word “fuck.”
