Oh God.
While praising Chick-fil-A’s values on the “The Ken Coleman Show,” The President of Chick-fil-A, Dan Kathy, said:
“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, ‘We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage. I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about.”

littleainge 10 months agoI hear from my friends that they feel torn on this issue and maybe it’s because I’m from an area where we don’t have Chick-Fil-A and only encountered it when I went away to college, but I don’t really get the problem. I ate there once before finding out about the gay marriage thing and I don’t think their food is all that good, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out by not giving them my patronage. Now, this may also be because I’m not huge on chicken or fast food in general but I would say that McDonald’s makes a better chicken sandwich. TLDR: I don’t eat here and would encourage other people not to, but I don’t like it so I’m not claiming to be sacrificing anything by that.

davidw15 10 months agoI’ve learned not to fear God’s judgment. Why? Because, evidently, God is getting old and he has shitty aim. Whether it’s natural disaster or financial calamity, if he’s aiming for the “sodomites”, how come he always misses and hits the most backward, rural, superstitious, God-fearin’ folk? Maybe he knows something we don’t about the amount of sodomy that goes on in the “heartland”. Must be a lotta sheep-fuckin’ and sister-fuckin’ goin’ on behind closed barn doors….

jof2 10 months agoPeople have always been the ones who define what marriage is about. I have yet to hear any reports of judgment being rained down on the polygamists in other parts of the world, or on those who symbolically marry animals, such as in parts of India, and both have been going on for quite a long while. Think we’ll be ok on this one…
