middlegirl a year agoI sometimes attend a progressive church in NJ where everyone is welcome. Two gay dads also attend that have a pair of adorable twin daughters who were born via surrogacy with the help of one of the mens’ sister. (She didn’t provide the gestational egg but agreed to carry the babies.) After the babies were born the sister who previously identified as lesbian were turned against the fathers by their born-again mother and has been successful in trying to get at least partial custody of the twin girls. These men have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees trying to get their rights as parents. My heart breaks for them as it does for this young woman in this video. I hope and pray that NJ does the right thing.
