how do you “act white” or “act black”? I'm white and live in Canada, I'm pretty sure a white person from Latvia is completely culturally different from me.

Hmm, I think what Krissy says is spot on. People don't act a certain race, they act a culture. Unfortunately, all these people have really only been exposed to one, small, insulated culture. They really need to get out more. On another note, I wonder what stereotypes would surface if this had been done exactly opposite? I'm guessing we would have seen some similar results.

I don't even… That “acting white” is considered “classy”. People don't “act” a certain ethnicity… they subscribe to cultures. I'm not surprised by the ignorant people in this video… When I went to college I met people who'd never been close with a black person before. Many a people wanted to “just feel my hair”. But that's OK. These people all could stand to get out of their little Mormon bubbles of security and actually MEET black people instead of emulating what they see on TV.
