an excallent detterant to teargas from the cops is wasp and hornet spray from the grocery store.
It sprays from twenty= feet away and when sprayed ON the tear gas mask, will make the cop take it off…and, by gosh, get a damned good whiff of his own tear gas. PS…if you ever catch one of these madmen cops, please sit on his face and other protesters will arrive to administer chili and beans to your diet.

It's only when police show up that the Occupy movement gets any attention. They don't have a coherent message and are “protesting” simply because they're angry about… something. They were told to leave, they refused. Sucks to be them.

This is just going to cause an escalation in social unrest. Pelting protesters with bullet sized “bean bags”, tear gas and flash bang grenades will not put away the anger and frustration that is making people protest. It will ADD to the anger and frustration, then magnify and multiply the energy that is bringing people out to protest.
How is it that the none of the people responsible for spectacularly wrecking our economy are not held accountable, yet when people protest said wrecking, they get the Martial Law Third World Country Beat Down handed to them? Because their “protesting in an illegal area?” Get real.
