I can't believe I'm writing publicly to defend Britney Spears, but think about it… she's performing in front of a bazillion people and she's probably in a pretty focused state of mind. Doing 20 or so songs, costume changes, dancing, whatever. I think few of us can appreciate how difficult that actually is. Then suddenly some nutty person rushes her on stage, right in the middle of all of it, with unknown motives. That would probably be genuinely freaky, especially with an extra gallon of adrenaline already running through her veins.  Anyway I still thought it was funny.

That girl's on edge.  I wonder if she reacts the same way when a bug splats on her windshield.  Or when she sees the milk jug in the fridge.
