Watch A Baseball Player Confuse The Entire City Of Chicago

This is baseball's version of trolling.

Let me tell you a story about a Chicago White Sox shortstop named Alexei Ramierez who swung with all his might and drove a hanging off-speed pitch from James Shields deep to left field.

At first glance, it appears as though Ramirez deposited the Shields' mistake into the left field stands. Right?

Well, whoever operates the fireworks at US Cellular Field certainly thought so...

Hell, so did Alexei Ramirez who thought he just hit his seventh homer of the year.

NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS! Royals right fielder, Alex Gordon, was simply trolling the shit out everyone.

    *Scooby Doo confused sound*

Gordon actually misplayed Ramirez's ball so badly it simply looked like he gave up because it went over the fence, when in reality he caught the ball on the warning track.

Leaving Alexei Ramirez with a "I still don't understand the end of Lost" look on his face...

While James Shields couldn't help but laugh, because baseball's funny like that.

    The End.
