SPCA Seizes 44 Dogs From Central Saanich Home

Many of the dogs are covered in feces and matted fur. “A lot of them are in deplorable condition. The matting, the nails, it’s pretty bad so we’re having vets look at them, getting the mats out, and getting x-rays to find out who is pregnant and how pregnant” adds Stone. If you’re interested in adopting one of the dogs taken from this home Wednesday, you can’t just yet, and may not ever be able to. They don’t belong to the SPCA and the owner says he wants them back.
