Dont the privacy settings allow you to change any aspect you want? I always kept tight lock of my privacy controls so I can manage what others can see.

just don't put anything online you don't want the world to see and you on the safe side.

Yeah, anyone who really is too dumb to go change their privacy settings deserves to have their information out there. People whine about Facebook “changes” way too much. I've barely ever noticed any of them. At all.

I think you might see a push to Orkut in the near future.

Here's a question: Does anyone actually LIKE all the privacy changes Facebook keeps making? I'm still pissed that I can't hide my friends list from certain friends anymore.

I just wanted to point out that these are the default settings. You can change these. I know, I know, Facebook is still full of privacy atrocities or whatever, but it is really not as bad as these charts make it look.

This is why I refuse to join Facebook and deleted my myspace.

With this latest update where they erase your personalized profile by just making you a long list of page and interest connections makes me about 1 bad update away from leaving altogether.

What?!?! If I want everyone to know something, I want it to be my birthday so they can buy me gifts!
