Bryan Carter 3 years agoI’m not amazed at the lack of helmet wearing. What I am amazed by is the number of ladies sporting high heels. Biking in heels, now that’s what you call dedication to fashion.

Jan K. 3 years agoA lot of people think it is odd that no-one wears a helmet; consider how weird it is to have never worn a helmet, go to California, and are obliged to wear a helmet because you’re not 18. Especially considering that anyone may drive a car at 16, which sounds a lot more dangerous than cycling to me.

Emil A. 3 years agoI live in Utrecht and hipsters riding fixies have started to pop up, not that many so far though.
People here seem quite relaxed about bike safety, it’s not uncommon to see old people speeding around town with grandchildren standing on their racks, never wearing helmets of course. -
